Anne Frank-the diary of a young girl

“I ‘ll begin from the moment I got you, the moment I saw you lying on the table among my other birthday presents.”

Anne Frank was a young girl who’s life was a merry one , always had a throng of admirers or friends hanging on to every word and was popular in every way …. But life began to slowly change when she and her family has to flee from the nightmares of Nazi occupation. Full of constant threats from the Nazi’s, slowly starving from the lack of food and the frustration of living with seven other people, this all happened in the vivid descriptions of Anne’s diary.

I loved this book right from the first word till the very last word of her diary- just the right book for 9+ – boys and girls. The editor was Otto Frank and Mirjam Pressler .
